Tutoring Services

Private Tutoring

I offer private tutoring for the SAT, ACT, ISEE, SSAT, AP exams, and other standardized tests, as well as academic help and enrichment in math, English, history, and writing.

Lessons are conducted via Zoom. Please contact me for rates and availability.

Specialties Include:

  • The SAT (both the current format and the upcoming digital format) and ACT

  • The ISEE, SSAT, and SHSAT

  • AP exams in AB/BC Calculus, English Literature & Composition, English Language & Composition, U.S. History, World History, and European History

  • Academic tutoring in math, history, English, and writing

  • The GRE

AP U.S. History Exam Course
Spring 2025

This course prepares students for the May 2025 AP U.S. History exam.

Four 2.5-hour meetings plus a 1-hour review session. Cost: $1100

The class will be limited to 15 students and held on Zoom.

This course prepares students for the AP U.S. History exam whether or not their school teaches AP classes.

Homework is assigned on a “do what you can” basis.

Schedule:

  • 1. Sunday, 4/6: 3 to 5:30 PM

  • 2. Sunday, 4/13: 3 to 5:30 PM

  • 3. Sunday, 4/27: 3 to 5:30 PM*

  • 4. Sunday, 5/4: 3 to 5:30 PM

  • 5. Wednesday, 5/7: 7:30 to 8:30 PM (review session)

  • Friday, May 9th: AP U.S. History exam

*The meeting time on this date may be adjusted.

If you need to miss any of the meetings, you will be sent a video recording of the meeting(s) you missed and kept up to date with course assignments.

Course Materials:
Two commercially available U.S. History prep books and one set of flashcards, totaling about $70.
